I am a city planner specialized in financing for urban infrastructure needed to respond to climate change, particularly focused on improving the ecosystems that support pipelines of investment ready projects. I also work on the nexus between subnational diplomacy and climate finance to improve the quantity and quality of financing for city level climate action. Prior to focusing on urban climate finance, I worked in architecture and drone-based remote sensing and geospatial data analysis.
Currently I am a Senior Program Associate at Climate Policy Initiative, where I lead the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA) Project Preparation Workstream, including the PPF Connector program.
Previously, I worked as a Sustainable Urban Development and Disaster Risk Management consultant at the World Bank, an analyst and technical product manager at Measure UAS a drone remote sensing startup since acquired by Aerodyne, and the architecture firms IDD and HFG in Egypt and the United States.
I have a Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies and minor in architecture from Calvin University and a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Design
